Yvonne & Geesje
Our story
After meeting each other in Portugal for business, we discovered we have a lot in common. At the same time, we have complementary skill sets. Both of us have worked in IT, in different countries and with various cultures. Over the last decade we have worked primarily in Portugal and in the Netherlands.
We see many opportunities for collaborations between the two countries. We have experienced that partnerships can be mutual beneficial. The small differences that exist can easily be managed to complement each other.
We both love to connect people and businesses. In our work we like to provide “simple” innovative solutions to help our customers improve their business to adapt to market challenges.
Consultants
Yvonne Kubbinga
Yvonne is a well-known senior manager and consultant with more than 25 years of experience in de Dutch IT service industry. After working for Pink Elephant and Atos at the managed service side, she moved to the business with jobs at Maersk, Ahold, PLUS Retail and Den Hartog Logistics. Yvonne has also worked as an international trainer. Since 2020 Yvonne has worked as Country Manager Polarising (Portuguese nearshore IT company) and as interim IT Manager in The Netherlands. Since 2022 Yvonne leads the Digital Circle and in 2024 she has become Board Member of the Dutch-Portuguese Chamber of Commerce (CCPH).
Fluent in Dutch and English, Yvonne possesses a working proficiency in German and Portuguese.
Geesje Mosies
Geesje started at ORMIT Ordina as management trainee, worked at the Dutch Ministry of Finance, then moved to LogicaCMG to work as as consultant and project director. In 2008, Geesje founded Hoooked, a highly successful textile recycling DIY yarn production company in Portugal, distributing to both B2B and B2C markets. Since 2017, Geesje has served as a Board Member of the Dutch-Portuguese Chamber of Commerce (CCPH). In 2021, she shifted her focus to interim business consulting. In 2023, Geesje joined CoreAngels Lisbon as an Angel Investor.
Fluent in Dutch and English, Geesje masters advanced proficiency in German and in Portuguese (C2 level).
